Welcome to Our Website

Thank you for participating in our exciting book, Lessons: Stories From Behind The Counter. Co-authors, Garry Hiebert and Bill King developed this concept to document the positive effects working at McDonald’s has had on their lives and now they would like to include your story.

We want to know how working at McDonald’s helped mold your career and contributed to your success. What impact did working at McDonald’s have on your life? What life lessons did you learn while at McDonald’s?

We are looking for positive stories of achievement, motivation, inspiration, or passion. They can be told in story form or as an antidote, and can be serious or humorous. The objective is to encourage others to choose the McDonald’s career path.

The Purpose of This Site

As long time supporters of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), Garry and Bill will donate 100% of the writer royalties from this book to RMHC. This project is not sponsored by McDonald's or RMHC.
